Awendaw, South Carolina – Alexander Nelson, a 62-year-old man, has been identified as the victim of a fatal homicide that occurred in May 2024 in Awendaw, according to the Charleston County Coroner’s Office.
Nelson was discovered with severe injuries near Highway 17 and was rushed to the Medical University of South Carolina, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
