Wallington, London – Mrs. Ayesha Paynter, a respected member of the South London Muslim community, passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at the age of 60.
She died at Royal Marsden Sutton Hospital in London after a long battle with illness.
Originally from Bermuda, Mrs. Paynter embraced Islam and was a cherished figure in her community.
Her funeral is planned for Wednesday, October 2, or Thursday, October 3, 2024, at Merton and Sutton Cemetery, London.
The community has been called upon for donations to cover funeral expenses, as her next of kin are unable to bear the costs.
Muslims Funeral Services, a UK-based charity, is leading the efforts to ensure Mrs. Paynter receives a proper burial.
