Roma, Queensland – Barbara Anne O’Brien, a cherished member of the community, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2024, at the age of 65.
Her passing has left family, friends, and loved ones mourning the loss of a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother.
Barbara, fondly remembered for her strength and kindness, was the loving wife of Peter (Harry), and a devoted mother to Dewayne, Cydonia, and Geoffrey.
She was also an adored grandmother, deeply treasured by her extended family.
A celebration of Barbara’s life will take place on Friday, October 4, 2024, at All Saints Catholic Church in Roma, commencing at 11:00 a.m.
In honor of her memory, the family has requested that instead of flowers, donations be made to the Queensland Cancer Council.
The Owens Maranoa Funeral Service shared their sentiments, saying, "Once an Angel, always an Angel, Spread your Wings and Fly."
