Wiley, Colorado – Bart Michael, a beloved and dedicated member of the Wiley Consolidated School District, passed away on September 28, 2024, leaving the community in mourning.
The school district announced a memorial service to be held on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at 10:00 am in the Wiley School Gym, officiated by Pastor Mark Imel of the Eads First Christian Church.
Bart’s contributions to the school and his positive influence on students and staff will be remembered fondly.
Superintendent Erin Brophy shared, "Bart touched the lives of many within our school community, and his contributions will not be forgotten."
The service will provide a moment for friends, family, and colleagues to come together in remembrance and support.
Condolences poured in from the community, with Kandae Reeder expressing, “Sending my condolences to the students and staff! I know that Bart will be deeply missed by many, and his shoes will be hard to fill.”
James N Dora Geier added, “Prayers to Bart’s family….RIP Bart.”
