Stephen S. Franczek Jr., aged 81, has sadly passed away on September 22, 2024, in Crown Point, Indiana. A cherished figure, he was remembered for his warm spirit and vibrant contributions to his community. Survivors include his children Susan, Stephen A., Robert, and Andrew, along with numerous grandchildren and siblings.
Family and friends expressed their grief on social media, with Andrew stating, "Here’s to you dad… I want to thank you for being my mentor, my idol, my friend and my father. I hope you are now at peace. I love you." Tributes highlighted his love for cars, fishing, and family gatherings, especially fond memories of trips to lakes and Italy. A memorial visitation will take place on September 26, 2024, at Elmwood Funeral Chapel.
