Dan Herberson, a close friend, wrote on Facebook, “Can everyone who knew our friend Kieran Murphy share this around please. It would mean a lot to his friends and family if people can help out in any way at all. This lad was the best you could ever imagine to meet, a heart full of gold and a mouth full of jokes. You will be a huge miss, mate, our hearts are broken.”

Hilary Sturrock also paid tribute, commenting, “Lovely young man… You Be Missed Kieran, 1 Of The Best.” Stacey Herberson echoed the sentiment, stating, “He’s gonna be a huge miss.”

In the wake of his passing, a fundraiser has been organized by David Langlands to support Kieran’s family during this difficult time. The fundraiser, aimed at covering funeral expenses, has raised £200 out of a £2,500 goal, with donations pouring in from friends and supporters.

The campaign details how Kieran’s parents, John and Heather, and his brother Nicky are struggling with the loss of their beloved son and brother. Kieran leaves behind a son, Ronnie Paul, who he cherished deeply.

David Langlands, the organizer of the fundraiser, shared, “No parent could ever prepare themselves to have to be arranging the funeral of their beloved son, and with this, I ask for donations to please help relieve his mom and dad of the worry of funeral expenses while they focus on staying strong for the family in the build-up to the send-off for our beloved Kieran.”

The community’s response has been overwhelming, with donations coming in rapidly. Among the contributions are £100 from James McLellan, £20 from Sophie Henderson, and £50 from Anthony Armstrong, highlighting the impact Kieran had on those around him.

Kieran Murphy’s legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched. The outpouring of support and love for his family during this trying time is a testament to the person he was—a friend, a father, and a cherished member of his community.
