Lois M. McCuiston, aged 88, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at Life Care Center of LaCenter. A cherished member of her community, Lois was born on June 29, 1936, to the late Benjamin Monroe and Mae Eva Lindsey Baker. She was an active member of Sharpe Missionary Baptist Church and the Eastern Star.
Lois is survived by her two daughters, Sheryl Puckett and Margena Traughber, along with three sons, Roger, Randell, and Russell McCuiston, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard McCuiston, and a son, Ronnie McCuiston.
Molly McCuiston, a family member, shared heartfelt sentiments on social media, stating, "My sweet Grandmama passed away… I know they’re watching over us." Tributes from friends highlight the impact Lois had on many lives, with one commenter reflecting, "An amazing person… She’ll always be remembered and loved."
Private family graveside services will be held at a later date, with arrangements managed by Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
