Beloved Unionville Resident Kenneth Gainforth Passes Away at 86, Leaving Behind Cherished Memories

Kenneth Gainforth, a respected member of the Unionville community, has passed away at the age of 86 on Sunday, September 22, 2024, at his home. Born on September 13, 1938, in Pigeon, Kenneth was the son of the late Milford and Thresa (Prutchick) Gainforth. He is survived by his wife, Frances (Gruber) Gainforth, along with three children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

In accordance with Kenneth’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and a memorial service is being planned for a later date. Friends and family have shared heartfelt tributes, with Brenda Gray stating, "Fran we are so sorry; we always enjoyed your visits with us and will miss all his stories and advice he shared." Connie Roy added, "So sorry for your loss," and Alice Shamel echoed this sentiment, expressing her condolences as well. Kenneth’s legacy will undoubtedly be remembered fondly by all who knew him.
