Michael A. Gorecki, a cherished resident of Adell, Wisconsin, has passed away unexpectedly at the age of 73. He died on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.
Born on April 15, 1951, in Milwaukee, Gorecki dedicated much of his life to serving others, including time in the U.S. Air Force. He worked as a painter for the City of Milwaukee’s buildings and bridges department, a role that showcased his strong work ethic and artistic talents.
Gorecki is survived by his loving wife, Mary Jane Gorecki, their sons, Mark (Jackie) Gorecki and Joseph Wipijewski, and several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Lisa Ivy-Hudson.
Family and friends remember him fondly. "Mike was a busy body and hard worker, always keeping busy," shared one friend. Another noted, “His unmistakable laugh and love for music, especially The Beatles, brought joy to those around him.”
In accordance with his wishes, no funeral services will be held, but a family celebration of life is planned for the future.
