Harrogate, North Yorkshire – Betty Moore, a cherished resident of Woodlands of Woolley, has sadly passed away on September 22, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.
Betty, a former yoga instructor and known for her infectious laughter, spent her last four years at Woodlands, where she left an indelible mark on both the staff and residents.
Her passing has left the community mourning the loss of a vibrant soul who was always ready to spread joy.
Betty’s relationship with her devoted husband, Bill, was one filled with love and admiration, as he called every day to check on her well-being.
Though Betty often joked with the staff, calling them “Fred” or “Claude,” it was her light-hearted humor that endeared her to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.
The Woodlands of Woolley shared their condolences on social media, expressing, “Betty loved blue cheese and always found joy in teasing those who didn’t.”
Friends and family have been offering heartfelt tributes on Facebook.
Fay Smith wrote, “Such a lovely lady with a big heart, Betty, you’re so missed.”
