South Whitehall, PA – Christopher E. Potter was tragically shot and killed in a fatal incident that occurred early Friday morning, October 4, 2024.
The Redding Police Department responded to reports of gunfire near the intersection of Westside Road and Meadowbrook Drive at around 2:41 a.m.
When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered two adult males, including Christopher E. Potter, dead from gunshot wounds.
Several other individuals were injured, including two women and one man, all of whom were treated for non-life-threatening injuries at a nearby hospital.
Authorities have charged Elvis Miguel Perez with murder in connection to the shooting.
The suspect fled the scene before officers arrived, and the investigation is ongoing as detectives continue to pursue leads.
