Picture Butte, Alberta – Clint Collier, the well-known and beloved Superintendent of the Picture Butte Golf Club, has tragically passed away.
His death was announced by his loved ones, though the cause of his death has not yet been disclosed.
Clint, described as a "gentle, humble & kind man" by his wife Shannon Whimster-Collier in a heartfelt social media post, has left behind a grieving family and community.
He was a dedicated husband to Shannon and the father of two grown children, Kyra and Brady.
Clint’s funeral arrangements have been made, with prayers scheduled for Friday, October 4th at 6:00 p.m. at Martin Brothers.
A funeral mass will follow on Saturday, October 5th at St. Martha Parish, with an internment after the service.
The community is invited to share stories and raise a glass in his honor on Sunday, October 6th at 3:00 p.m. at the Picture Butte Golf Club, where Clint worked and made a lasting impact.
Condolences poured in on social media, with Crystal Ferguson expressing, “So sorry for you and your families’ loss,” and Brittny Newton adding, “My thoughts and prayers are with you.”
