Upton, England – Donald Cooper, affectionately known by many as “Kelly,” passed away on September 2, 2024, at the age of 90.
Born in 1934 in Upton, he spent his entire life in the town he cherished.
His passing has saddened the community, with friends and family coming together to celebrate his life and bid him farewell.
In accordance with his wishes, Donald Cooper chose not to have a funeral but to be cremated, with his ashes to be scattered at his favorite place at a later date.
A memorial gathering will be held on October 5, 2024, from 2 PM to 6 PM at his family home in Upton.
The event will be open to all who knew him, providing an opportunity to remember and honor his life.
Tributes poured in from those who knew Donald.
Tim Shepherd expressed, “Condolences from the Shepherd family, thinking of you all,” while Mostyn Chadd recalled, “Top man, good friend, one of the last characters of Upton.
RIP old pal.”
Margaret Gibbs added, “So sad, known Kelly for years.”
