Donald Kauth, Longtime Elk Grove Village Resident, Passes Away at 91 Surrounded by Family

Elk Grove Village, Illinois – Donald Aloysius Kauth, a beloved member of the Elk Grove Village community, passed away on September 28, 2024, at the age of 91.

He died peacefully in the presence of his cherished family at Ascension Alexian Brothers Hospice Residence.

Born on May 4, 1933, in Chicago, Illinois, Donald Kauth led a life filled with love, dedication, and lasting friendships.

He proudly served in the U.S. Army and had a successful career in the electrical manufacturing industry, including serving as President of the Daniel Woodhead Company.

Donald was affectionately known as "Dad," "Papa," and "Mr. K" by those closest to him and leaves behind a legacy of family and community.

He was a devoted husband to Rosemary, his wife of 67 years, and father to their four sons, Mark, Craig, Scott, and Joe.

Donald found great joy in family gatherings, particularly at Lake Tomahawk, and was a well-known golfer at the Itasca Country Club, where he was admired for his skill on the course.

Visitation is scheduled for October 3, 2024, at Grove Memorial Chapel, with a funeral mass to follow on October 4 at Queen of the Rosary Catholic Church.

Donald Kauth will be remembered for his kindness, work ethic, and unwavering love for his family.
