Eleanor Boag, Beloved Member of the Epilepsy Society, Passes Away Leaving a Legacy of Advocacy and Compassion

Eleanor Boag, a cherished and dedicated member of the Epilepsy Society, passed away on August 27, 2024.

Affectionately known as Ellie, her sudden passing has deeply impacted her family, friends, and the epilepsy community.

Eleanor, who was well-known for her boundless joy, strength, and compassion, was actively involved in supporting the Epilepsy Society, a cause very close to her heart.

Her involvement in raising awareness about epilepsy touched many lives, and her legacy as a fierce advocate for the cause will be remembered by all who knew her.

Eleanor’s loved ones have shared heartfelt tributes, highlighting her unwavering commitment to helping others, her beauty inside and out, and her role as a loyal friend and daughter.

A funeral service for Eleanor Boag will take place at Canley Crematorium – Cannon Hill Chapel on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at 1:30 p.m.

The family has requested that attendees incorporate the color purple, in honor of the Epilepsy Society, into their attire as a tribute to Eleanor’s passion for the cause.

Though she will be sorely missed, her memory will remain a source of inspiration and love for all who had the privilege to know her.
