Dublin, Ireland – Emiliia Hensitska, a 13-year-old Ukrainian refugee, tragically passed away on September 25, 2024, at Temple Street Hospital in Dublin.
Emiliia had relocated to Ireland with her mother, Larysa, to escape the war in Ukraine.
She was a student at Castleknock Community College and a dedicated gymnast at Excel Gymnastics.
Her life was filled with joy, and her infectious smile and boundless energy left a lasting impact on all who knew her.
Friends Ireland, who organized a fundraiser in her memory, described her as someone who "lived life to the fullest."
Tributes poured in following the news of her passing, with one GoFundMe supporter, Saretta O’Mahony, contributing €300 as the top donation to help Larysa during this difficult time.
