Lawrenceburg, Tennessee – Emily "Em" Rose Hunt, a beloved 16-year-old from Lawrenceburg, TN, tragically passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2024.
Her sudden passing has left her family, friends, and the community deeply saddened as they remember her vibrant spirit and unwavering passions.
Emily was a student at Loretto High School, where she was an active member of the LHS Soccer team.
She was also known for her love of fishing and drag racing, hobbies she pursued with enthusiasm.
Emily attended New Prospect Baptist Church and had dreams of becoming a cosmetologist.
The young teen was surrounded by a loving family, including her parents Andy and Kim Moore Hunt, her sister Abby Hunt, and her grandmothers Nancy Hunt and Kathy Dowdy.
Emily was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Edgar Hunt, Bill Dowdy, and Jackie Moore, along with her aunt Renee Bunt.
Her funeral will take place on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at Neal Funeral Home, followed by her interment at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens.
In the wake of her passing, loved ones have shared heartfelt messages on social media.
