Montague Township, New Jersey – Frank Jimeno, a 39-year-old motorcyclist from Hudson County, New Jersey, tragically lost his life in a crash on Route 23 northbound in Sussex County on Sunday morning, October 6, 2024.
According to Sergeant Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesperson for the New Jersey State Police, Jimeno was riding a KTM motorbike when he drifted off the right side of the road and collided with a guardrail near milepost 50 in Montague Township.
The accident occurred at approximately 10:26 a.m., and Jimeno was pronounced dead at the scene due to the severe injuries sustained from the impact.
Authorities are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash, and officials are urging anyone with information to come forward to assist with the investigation.
Jimeno, a resident of West New York, Hudson County, was well-known in his community.
His sudden and tragic passing has left family, friends, and fellow riders mourning the loss of a beloved individual.
