Beatrice, Nebraska – Gary A. Gibson, a beloved lifelong resident of Beatrice and a veteran of the Nebraska National Guard, passed away peacefully at his home on September 28, 2024, at the age of 89.
He was surrounded by his loving family at the time of his passing.
Gary was born on February 14, 1935, in Beatrice, where he lived his entire life.
He graduated from Beatrice High School in 1954 and went on to serve in the Nebraska National Guard, Company C, 2-134th Infantry.
He was well-known in the community for his dedication and commitment.
Gary’s passing has prompted an outpouring of condolences from friends and community members.
