Dixon, Missouri – Geraldine Anna (Scheulen) Berry, age 82, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at Jefferson City Manor Care Center.
Her death comes only days after the passing of her husband, Gerald Berry, who died on September 20, 2024.
Loved ones believe she passed away with a "broken heart" following the loss of her beloved spouse.
Geraldine was born on October 24, 1941, in Meta, Missouri, the daughter of the late George and Elizabeth Marie (Schaffer) Scheulen.
She married Gerald Berry on December 29, 1984, and together they shared a passion for gardening and spending time in their community.
For nearly 40 years, Geraldine worked at the Langenberg Hat Factory in St. Elizabeth, and she was an active member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church.
She enjoyed cooking, sewing, and crocheting, and will be remembered fondly for her love of family and friends.
She is survived by her three sons, Michael, Greg, and Tim Frazier, as well as her stepchildren, Gerald Berry, Jr., Steve Berry, and Lisa Woodward.
She also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings, and a wide circle of loved ones.
A visitation and graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at Union Cemetery in Iberia.
Her passing has deeply touched those close to her, with many expressing condolences on social media.
