Grand Haven Community Mourns the Tragic Loss of 21-Year-Old Peyton Rebone Following Accident

Grand Haven, Michigan – The community is reeling from the sudden passing of Peyton Rebone, a vibrant 21-year-old whose life was tragically cut short in an accident on September 21, 2024.

Peyton was beloved for his infectious smile and positive spirit, qualities that endeared him to many. A proud graduate of Grand Haven High School, he actively participated in soccer and theater, leaving a lasting impression on his peers.

Witnesses indicate that the accident occurred shortly after Peyton had left a gathering with friends. Despite the swift response of first responders, he unfortunately succumbed to his injuries, leaving family and friends in shock and disbelief.

Tributes have flooded in on social media, with friends reminiscing about his ability to bring joy to those around him. "Peyton was one of those rare people who could make anyone laugh," one friend shared.

In response to this heartbreaking loss, a GoFundMe campaign has been initiated to help the family cover funeral expenses and other related costs. Pollie Gilchrist emphasized the importance of community support, stating, "Your kindness and generosity will make a difference."
