His oldest daughter, Honore’e Montez, shared the news with a heavy heart, stating that the loss has brought immense emotional pain and financial burdens to their family. The family has since started a fundraiser to help cover funeral and related expenses.
Honore’e Montez expressed her gratitude for the outpouring of support they have received, saying, “We thank all who have sent us prayers, texts, calls, visits to our home, meals being dropped off, hugs, and condolences.” The fundraiser, organized by Honore’e, has raised $2,185 so far, with 22 donations toward a $20,000 goal.
