Jasper, Alabama – John D. Hannah, Jr., a devoted father and proud Tuskegee University alumnus, passed away unexpectedly at his home on September 23, 2024.
The sudden loss of Mr. Hannah has left his family, friends, and community in mourning as they come together to remember his life and legacy.
His funeral service will be held at Faith Chapel Funeral Home in Jasper, Alabama, on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Tuskegee University, his alma mater, in his honor.
The family expressed their gratitude for the overwhelming support they’ve received, stating, “We appreciate your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.”
Social media has been filled with an outpouring of condolences.
Brianna Skinner shared, “This breaks my heart,” while Byron Davison offered his “Deepest Sympathy, Condolences, and Prayers” to the family.
John D. Hannah, Jr. is survived by his children, JoAnna, Jocelyn, and Johnathan Hannah.
His love and dedication to his family and his alma mater will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
