Lieutenant Mark Pytlewicz, Dedicated Elk Grove Village Firefighter, Passes Away After 22 Years of Service

Elk Grove Village, Illinois – Lieutenant Mark Pytlewicz, a respected and long-serving firefighter with the Elk Grove Village Fire Department, tragically passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2024.

His unexpected death has left his family, colleagues, and community mourning the loss of a dedicated public servant.

Lieutenant Pytlewicz served the Elk Grove Village Fire Department for 22 years and was a valued member of the technical rescue team and the honor guard.

Known for his professionalism and unwavering commitment, he leaves behind his wife and three sons.
