Huntsville, Texas – Lieutenant Melvin Williams, a valued member of the 980 North Fire Department, tragically passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2024.
The fire department has announced that a memorial service will be held in his honor on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at approximately 10:30am.
Melvin Williams served his community with dedication and courage, and his passing has left a profound void in the hearts of those who worked with him and knew him.
The memorial procession will begin at 9:15am from the fire station, with fire personnel departing to pick up Melvin from Sam Houston Funeral Home in Huntsville, Texas.
The department will return to the fire station with his family by 10:00am, where the service will commence.
A procession escort will be provided for those wishing to join.
