Chamberino, New Mexico – Lisa Alvarado-Dominguez, a mother of five, tragically passed away after a courageous battle with cancer.
Her passing was announced through a fundraiser organized to support her children as they navigate life without her.
Lisa was first diagnosed with breast cancer on October 9, 2022, and though she initially overcame it, the cancer returned aggressively, spreading to her bones and liver.
Her final diagnosis came with the heartbreaking news that she had entered liver failure, cutting her remaining time short.
Despite the devastating prognosis, Lisa remained strong for her children, preparing for her farewell and focusing on spending her last days with them.
A fundraiser was launched to help her children honor her memory through a proper farewell, a testament to Lisa’s wish for her children to grieve peacefully.
One of the many heartfelt posts online read, "Stay strong, Alvarado-Dominguez Lisa, God always has the last word."
Another supporter, Patricia Padilla, donated to the fundraiser and expressed love and support for the family during this difficult time.
