Lisa Nolley, Beloved Community Member, Passes Away After a Courageous Battle with ALS

Arlington, Texas – Lisa Nolley, a cherished member of the Wichita Falls community, passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2024, after a two-year battle with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS).

Her passing has left her family, friends, and community members deeply saddened.

Lisa Nolley graduated from Wichita Falls High School in 1984 and was remembered fondly by her classmates and peers for her kindness and strength.

A service to honor her life will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 11th at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church in Arlington, Texas.

Tributes and condolences poured in on social media, reflecting the profound impact she had on those who knew her.

Dudley McAfee expressed his grief by stating, “Rest in peace Lisa,” while Angela Sottek-McCarty offered her support, saying, “Condolences and prayers for the family and loved ones.”

Another friend, Suzy Compton, wrote, “Prayers for the repose of her soul. She rests in peace now.”

Lisa’s courageous battle against ALS was an inspiration to many, and she will be remembered as a beautiful woman, inside and out, as expressed by Thomas Eanes.

Her legacy of resilience and love will continue to be felt by those she leaves behind.
