Her death comes after a heartbreaking ordeal involving the kidnapping of her son by bandits on December 23, 2023.
No ransom demand or proof of life had been provided since the abduction, leaving Mallama Safara’u devastated.
The emotional toll of the incident led to severe illness, leaving her partially paralyzed before her death.

Her passing has left the community of Rigachikun in mourning.
