Tucson, Arizona – Manuel Avechuco, affectionately known as "Manny" by his family and friends, was tragically shot and killed over the past weekend in a senseless act of gun violence. His untimely death has left the Avechuco family and the Tucson community devastated.

Described as a kind soul, Manuel was remembered for his joyful personality, his love for comic books, and his infectious smile. His sister shared heartfelt memories of him, calling him “one of the coolest, most down-to-earth people you could ever meet.” She recalled his playful nature and how he always managed to bring a sense of peace and happiness to those around him. “He loved our mom to the end of the Earth,” she added, reflecting on the close bond they shared.
