Preston, Iowa – Mary Ann Scheckel, 83, passed away peacefully in her home on October 2, 2024, surrounded by her loving family and friends.
Born on October 4, 1940, to Adolph and Lucille Franzen (née Sullivan), Mary Ann lived a full life of warmth and kindness.
She married Robert William Scheckel on October 10 and spent many cherished years together.
Known to many as either "Mary" or "Ann," she was remembered for her gentle nature and the positive impact she had on those around her.
