Knox, Indiana – Matthew Russell Giblin, a beloved member of the community, has tragically passed away unexpectedly. He was known for his sense of humor, vibrant smile, and his love for animals, which he often rescued and cared for from a young age.

Matthew, affectionately known as Matt, was a loving father, son, uncle, and friend. His family remembers him as intelligent, hardworking, and always eager to learn and grow. He was passionate about history and loved sharing captivating stories with those around him. His light and personality filled any room he entered, and his presence will be dearly missed.

The community has come together to support the family during this difficult time. A fundraiser organized by Amanda Crost aims to help cover the unexpected expenses associated with laying Matt to rest with the dignity he deserves. The fundraiser, titled "Honoring Matthew Russell (Giblin)," has raised $395 out of its $9,000 goal with donations pouring in from friends and well-wishers.

Eva Marie Tackett expressed her sorrow on Facebook, saying, "My cousin passed away unexpectedly yesterday! If you feel the need to be generous, please help this family lay him to rest! Rest in peace, Matt!"

Paula Kramer also shared her condolences, commenting, "My condolences to you all," as the community offers its heartfelt support.

The family is deeply grateful for the love and assistance they have received during this challenging time. They plan to share service information once arrangements have been made.
