Melvin Hubbard, 22, Tragically Passes Away in Skateboarding Accident in Smyrna, Georgia

Smyrna, Georgia – Melvin Hubbard, a vibrant 22-year-old, tragically passed away following a skateboarding accident while riding his new Meepo electric skateboard. The heartbreaking incident occurred when Melvin fell and hit his head on the pavement, sustaining a fatal brain injury. Despite efforts by doctors to save him, the injury proved non-survivable, leading the family to make the difficult decision of taking him off life support.

Melvin’s family and friends are devastated by his sudden loss. Described as full of life and joy, Melvin was enjoying time with friends when the accident occurred. The unexpected nature of this tragedy has left his family grappling with not only emotional pain but also significant financial burdens.

Phyllis Thomas, who organized a GoFundMe fundraiser, is reaching out to the community for support during this difficult time. The fundraiser aims to help ease the financial strain on Melvin’s family as they prepare for his final farewell. So far, $70 has been raised toward the $20,000 goal. Phyllis expressed her gratitude to the community for their generosity and prayers.
