Michael Pearson, Beloved Truck Driver and Kenworth Enthusiast, Passes Away in Pilbara, Western Australia

Pilbara, Western Australia – Michael Pearson, affectionately known as Mick, tragically passed away on September 23, 2024, after a courageous battle until the very end.

Mick, a man with a big heart and a love for V8s and Kenworth trucks, spent his final days working in his dream vehicle, a Kenworth T950 road train, which he proudly drove in the Pilbara.

He was well-known for his kind nature, wearing his heart on his sleeve, and is deeply missed by his friends and family.

A memorial gathering and ash-spreading ceremony is scheduled for October 13, 2024, in Karratha, on Bathurst Sunday.

This event will celebrate Mick’s life and his enduring passion for trucks and the road.

Many have shared their condolences and memories of Mick.

Andrew Pearson expressed his sorrow, sharing, "In memory of Michael Pearson… He is sadly missed by all."

Darren Pusong Bato Starega also commented, "Condolences to yourself and your family mate," while Ian Ferreira simply said, "Sorry to hear mate."

Other heartfelt messages came from Jean Claude Colin, who extended sympathy to Mick’s family, and Reni Winters, who said, "My condolences bro… RIP."
