Parma, Ohio – Michael Zaderecky, a beloved 106-year-old World War II veteran, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 20, 2024.
Zaderecky, a U.S. Army veteran and a long-standing member of the American Legion Post 572, leaves behind a legacy of service and dedication.
His life and contributions to the community will be honored with a prayer service on Thursday, October 3, 2024, at 10:15 a.m. at the Ripepi Funeral Home in Parma, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Andrew Ukrainian Catholic Church.
Interment will take place at St. Andrew Cemetery.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at the Ripepi Funeral Home from 4 to 7 p.m., with a Parastas service at 6 p.m.
Michael Zaderecky was admired for his military service during World War II and his active participation in the local veteran community.
His passing has touched many, with several paying tribute on social media.
