Southampton, England – Paul Cornwall, a well-respected and cherished member of the Southampton community, sadly passed away on Saturday morning, September 28, 2024, after a courageous battle with illness.
His passing has left family, friends, and colleagues deeply saddened, though they take comfort in knowing that he is no longer in pain.
Funeral services to honor his memory will be held at 11 a.m. on October 23, 2024, at Wessex Vale Crematorium, located on Bubb Lane, Hedge End, Southampton.
Following the service, attendees are invited to gather and raise a glass at Bitterne Conservative Club to celebrate Paul’s life.
Paul was remembered fondly by many, including Jayne, Anne, Marie Rose, and Nan, who thanked the community for their overwhelming support through cards, flowers, and kind messages.
Close friends expressed their grief, with Jim Clarke sharing, “He was a great friend and school colleague… I was devastated with this news.”
Anne Shaw remarked, “True gentleman… taken far too soon, will be greatly missed.”
In lieu of flowers, Paul’s family has requested donations to be made to cancer research in his memory.
