It is with profound sadness that the passing of Paul Felton, a cherished business partner and valued friend, has been announced.
Paul passed away at the age of 47, and his funeral will be held on Monday, September 30, 2024, at 1 p.m. at Overdale Crematorium, West Chapel.
Known for his generosity and commitment to those around him, Paul formed a strong bond with his colleague Chris Ashton over nearly 25 years, having met while working at the doors of the Atlantis Nightclub.
Together, they navigated life’s challenges, sharing the loss of their parents and raising their children with dedication.
Paul’s meticulous attention to detail in business, especially at Chris Ashton Brickwork Ltd, earned him deep respect from bricklayers and young surveyors alike, ensuring they were always supported and paid on time.
Colleagues and friends have expressed their deep grief on social media.
Chris Ashton, heartbroken by the loss, wrote, "I’ve really been devastated and shook up at the very sad loss of Paul both as a great friend and a massive loss to Chris Ashton Brickwork Ltd."
Another friend, Greg O’Donoghue, added, "Will be missed tremendously. RIP Paul, a great bloke."
