Phi Hai Hoang Do Remembered by Family and Friends as Memorial Fundraiser Launched to Cover Funeral Expenses

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma – Phi Hai Hoang Do, a beloved member of the community, tragically passed away over the past weekend, leaving family and friends devastated by his sudden loss. Phi Hai was known for his big heart, boundless energy, and genuine care for others. He had a unique ability to make everyone feel heard and valued, never passing judgment.

In an effort to support Phi Hai’s family during this difficult time, a memorial fund has been established to help cover the costs of his funeral services and to transport his remains from Oklahoma to California, where he will be laid to rest near his loved ones.

Johnny Minh, a close friend, shared on Facebook, “Dear Friends and Family, for those who knew our brother Phi Hai, you know how deeply he touched our lives. His big heart, boundless energy, and genuine care for others were truly remarkable. He was never one to judge, always making everyone feel heard and valued.”

The memorial fundraiser, organized by Johnny Minh, aims to raise $10,000 to ensure that Phi Hai receives the farewell he deserves. So far, the fundraiser has collected $100 from one donor. Khanh Nguyen, who made the first donation, contributed $100 towards the cause.

The family is grateful for any support during this time of grief. Contributions can be made through the GoFundMe campaign or directly via Zelle to Phi Hai’s father, Quoc Van Do.

Johnny Minh concluded his heartfelt post with, “Your kindness and support mean the world to us, and we know it would mean the world to Phi Hai.”

Phi Hai’s friends and family are hoping to gather enough funds to provide him with a proper memorial service and to bring him home to rest in California.
