Rayne Cooper, 17, Tragically Passes in Knoxville Vehicle Accident; Fundraiser Launched for Funeral Costs

Knoxville, TN – Rayne Cooper, a 17-year-old resident of Knoxville, tragically passed away in a vehicle accident on September 16, 2024. Her untimely death has left her family, especially her mother, grappling with immense grief. A fundraiser has been launched by her aunt, Anastasia Morrisey, to help cover the funeral expenses, as Rayne’s mother is a single parent facing financial hardship.

Rayne Cooper was described as a bright and loving young woman, whose sudden loss has deeply affected her family and community. The funeral service will be held at Mynatt Funeral Home Powell Chapel, though the date is yet to be determined due to certain circumstances.

In the wake of Rayne’s passing, family and friends have flooded social media with heartfelt messages of support and sorrow.

Sheena Cooper, Rayne’s mother, posted emotionally on Facebook:
“RIP Rayne 09/16/2024. My baby is gone. I don’t know what I’m gonna do without her. She was the love of my life and I will miss her terribly… No parent should have to go through this, it’s not fair.”

A GoFundMe fundraiser has been set up by Rayne’s aunt, Anastasia Morrisey, to help alleviate the financial burden of funeral costs. The fundraiser aims to raise $5,000 and encourages the community to contribute, with the organizer expressing immense gratitude for any amount given or for simply sharing the fundraiser.

Rayne’s passing is an immense loss for the family, and their community has come together to support them through this difficult time.
