Retired Plymouth County Correctional Officer Kent Blethen Passes Away, Leaving a Legacy of Service and Love for History

Plymouth County, Massachusetts – Retired Correctional Officer Kent Blethen, who served at the Plymouth County Correctional Facility, passed away on October 2, 2024.

His passing has left friends, colleagues, and family deeply saddened, as they remember his passion for nature, history, and the discovery of historical artifacts.

Kent was a beloved figure in the community, known for his dedication and the warm relationships he cultivated with those around him.

Tributes poured in on social media, with many reflecting on his life and the impact he had on his friends.
