Robert "Bob" Earl Roark, 81, of Columbus, Kansas, Passes Away, Reunited with His Wife Patricia

Columbus, Kansas – Robert "Bob" Earl Roark, a beloved resident of Columbus, passed away at the age of 81 on Monday, September 24, 2024, at Autumn Place, a long-term care facility in Columbus.

Roark was born on March 30, 1943, in Oakland, California, to the late Lester and CoNorma (Correll) Roark.

He is remembered as a devoted husband, father, and member of his community.

According to close family, Bob had longed to be reunited with his late wife Patricia, who passed away over seven years ago.

Their daughter, Billie Roark, expressed her sorrow and comfort on social media, writing, "I will miss you Dad…You will be missed so much…Rip Dad, see you all soon."

Condolences poured in from friends and family, with many recalling fond memories of Bob.

Troy Judy shared, "Sorry for your loss, he was a great man, prayers for you and your family."

Bob is survived by his children and extended family, who are left mourning the loss of a man known for his kindness and the love he held for his family.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Derfelt Funeral Home in Columbus.
