Cheyenne, Wyoming – Robert "Chico" Pistono, a beloved former resident of Green River, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2024, at the Davis Hospice Center in Cheyenne.
He was 83 years old.
Born on January 28, 1941, Pistono graduated from Green River High School and spent much of his life in the community before moving to Cheyenne.
He will be remembered for the warmth and kindness he brought to those around him.
A memorial service is scheduled to be held at Schrader’s Funeral Home in Cheyenne on Friday, October 4, 2024, at 2 p.m.
Friends and family have been sharing their memories and condolences on social media.
Betty Crompton expressed her sorrow, writing, "So sorry for your loss God bless you and your family amen."
Harvey Setzer shared his admiration, saying, "Wow! This gentleman led a wonderful and adventurous life… RIP Sir."
Pistono’s passing has left a void in the hearts of those who knew him, but his legacy will continue to live on in the memories of his loved ones.
