Robin Lori Troyer Passes Away at Marlette Hospital, Family Seeks Support for Funeral Costs

Marlette, Michigan – Robin Lori Troyer passed away unexpectedly on the morning of September 14, 2024, at Marlette Hospital. Her son, Clayton Troyer, shared the heartbreaking news, recounting how he received the devastating call from the hospital informing him of her passing. Robin was a beloved mother of two and a grandmother to six.

In a post on Facebook, Clayton expressed the overwhelming grief that he and his sister, Carrie Mann, have been enduring. Clayton wrote, "My whole world crumbled in an instant… this was the result of gross negligence due to failing to provide adequate care when it was medically necessary."

Carrie Mann, who has been struggling to make ends meet and was set to start a new job, is now faced with the challenge of covering the unexpected funeral expenses. The family has organized a fundraiser to help with the costs, and they are asking for support during this difficult time. As of today, $175 has been raised out of the $9,000 goal.

The outpouring of support on social media has been immense. Nicole Ryno wrote, “I’m so sorry for your loss,” while Collin Sobaszek commented, “Sorry for your loss Brother.” Other individuals, including Amie Brody, Kenneth Leibold, and Rhonda Schenck, shared similar messages of condolences.

Clayton also expressed gratitude for the kind words but acknowledged how difficult the situation has been. "Ty guys… it’s pretty hard not being able to do everything that needs to be done… such a really bad time for all this to happen," he added.

Robin Troyer was remembered as a wonderful and glowing soul, whose passing has left her family devastated. Anyone wishing to contribute to the funeral costs can donate through the GoFundMe page organized by Carrie Mann.

The family continues to mourn their loss and is deeply appreciative of the support they have received from friends, family, and the community.
