Silver Spring, Maryland – Ron Calloway, affectionately known as Slim or Pony, passed away recently, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and selflessness.
He was a devoted father and a former DuPont employee, where he worked for 34 years before retiring.
His daughter, Nataia Jackson, expressed her deep sorrow and admiration for her father in a heartfelt post, noting that she cared for him for eight years and would do it all over again if given the chance.
“Ron was the best daddy a girl could ever ask for,” Nataia wrote.
She recounted her dedication to his care, especially in the last seven months, even quitting her job to ensure his well-being.
Unfortunately, despite securing a new insurance policy, Ron passed away before it could be fully utilized.
Nataia now hopes to give her father a proper memorial service in Charleston, West Virginia, to celebrate his life and the person he was.
Friends and family have shared their condolences online.
Jeanette Cox Walker offered prayers, and donations have been made to support the memorial fund, with many expressing love and support for the family.
Ron Calloway will be remembered for his big heart and his willingness to help those in need.
