Tulsa, Oklahoma – Ron West, a beloved member of the local racing community and co-owner of Car Parts Machine Shop, passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2024, due to complications from stomach issues.
His passing comes just after the recent loss of his son, Michael, leaving his wife, Linda, in deep mourning.
Known for his dedication to racing, many will remember Ron West for driving the old 24 mini stock and for his work in the machine shop he co-owned with Bud.
The community has come together in support of Linda West during this difficult time, with a fundraiser organized by Louis “Butch” Stegeman to assist the family with expenses.
As of today, the fundraiser has raised $220 out of a $7,500 goal.
Ron West’s funeral is scheduled to take place on October 2nd at 3:00 PM at the Floral Haven chapel.
Friends and supporters are asked to keep Linda in their prayers as she navigates this challenging period.
