East York, Ontario – Samantha Christine Beattie, a beloved mother and cherished member of the East York community, was tragically murdered on September 21, 2024.
Her death has left her family, friends, and the community in deep mourning.
The heartbreaking news of Samantha’s passing was shared through a social media post, which read, “Sam was murdered on Sunday by a very ugly man.” Samantha was a mother to four children—Thea, Selene, Anastasia, and Artemis—and was deeply loved by her siblings Allison, Pam, and Doug.
Samantha’s presence will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
A visitation for Samantha Beattie was scheduled for Saturday, September 28, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home in Newmarket, Ontario.
A funeral service took place the following day, on September 29, 2024, at 10:00 AM, with a reception held shortly after to honor her memory.
