Sascha Vito Nuzzo Flores Tragically Passes Away from Rare Leukemia as Family Seeks Support for Funeral in Spain

Sascha Vito Nuzzo Flores tragically passed away after a difficult battle with a rare form of leukemia. Sascha fought bravely for over eight months, undergoing various treatments, including chemotherapy and a stem cell transplant. Unfortunately, none of the treatments proved successful, and Sascha’s health deteriorated, leading to his passing.

Sascha leaves behind his wife, Solanyi, and their two newborn daughters, who were born just one day after his death. The couple had long hoped for children, and after years of trying, they were thrilled by the news of Solanyi’s pregnancy earlier this year. However, shortly after the pregnancy news, Sascha received his leukemia diagnosis. Much of the pregnancy was spent in the hospital as Sascha underwent treatment, but sadly, he succumbed to the illness.

A GoFundMe campaign has been organized by Sascha’s close friends, including Sinan Erdem, to help cover funeral expenses and support his grieving family. Sascha had expressed a desire to be buried in his homeland of Spain. The fundraiser will help alleviate the financial burden on his wife, brother, and mother, ensuring Sascha can be honored with a memorial service in Germany and laid to rest in Spain. Solanyi and the newborns are currently still in the hospital, as the babies were born prematurely and require additional care.

The GoFundMe campaign has raised €1,795 out of its €5,000 goal, with 35 donations made so far. Top contributions include €500 from Dirk Mühlhause and €100 from Erhan Erdem.

On Facebook, friends and loved ones shared their thoughts and condolences:

Marina Muß commented, “.”

The family and friends of Sascha are deeply appreciative of any support offered, whether through donations or sharing the campaign, as they navigate this incredibly difficult time.
