Mesquite, Texas – Sateria Kila Parker, affectionately known as "Kila," tragically passed away on the morning of September 27, 2024, from an unexpected seizure.
Her sudden passing has left her family and friends heartbroken, as they come together to honor her memory and care for her three young children.
Kila’s aunt, Shageorgia Polk, organized a fundraiser to help cover the funeral expenses and to give her the heartfelt farewell she deserves.
Polk shared on social media, “My niece, Sateria ‘Kila’ Parker, passed away suddenly this morning from an apparent seizure.
She was caring for three small children.
We are greatly in need of your help to send her home to be with her God.”
The community has rallied around the Parker family, with donations pouring in to support them during this difficult time.
Stephanie Davis, one of the donors, contributed $100, and several others have expressed their condolences through both donations and heartfelt messages.
Sateria Kila Parker is remembered for her love for her children and her family.
Her loss has deeply affected those close to her, and she will be greatly missed.
