Saya Saw Daniel Say, Beloved Teacher, Passes Away in Kayin State, Myanmar, Leaving a Legacy of Dedication

Kamamaung, Kayin State – Saya Saw Daniel Say, a respected and dedicated school teacher, passed away on September 29, 2024, in Kamamaung, Papun Township, Kayin State.

His passing has deeply affected those who knew him, especially his colleagues and students at Laypota Adventist Seminary in South East Mission, where he was a cherished educator.

Saya Saw Daniel Say, also known as Saw Moo Pleh Say, was known for his commitment to teaching and his role in shaping the lives of young people in Myanmar.

The Myanmar Union Mission (MYUM) Education Department expressed their deep sorrow, offering their condolences to his bereaved family, stating, "We deeply pained and words are no help in expressing the sorrow we feel at this moment."

The department added that they hold onto hope for a reunion with their beloved friend in the resurrection when Jesus returns.

Tributes and condolences poured in on social media.

Ngwe Lar commented, "RIP," while Sian Nu echoed, "RIP."

Elise Hlay shared her thoughts, saying, "That’s very sad, my condolences to the family and rest in peace."
