Scarborough, Maine – The community is mourning the tragic passing of Ashley Taylor Gleason, a beloved 27-year-old resident, who passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2024. Ashley was known for her compassion, kindness, and vibrant personality, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.

Born on August 24, 1997, in Portland, Maine, Ashley was raised in Scarborough, where she became a cherished member of the community. She graduated from Scarborough High School in 2015, where she excelled both academically and athletically, forming lifelong friendships along the way. She continued her education at the University of Maine at Farmington, where she participated in student athletics for four years, displaying a passion for sports and academics.

Ashley’s warm and selfless nature was felt by many in her hometown and beyond. Known for always being ready to lend a helping hand, her memory will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her. The outpouring of support from family, friends, and the wider community highlights the deep impact she made on those around her.

Several individuals have expressed their condolences and shared fond memories of Ashley on Facebook. Cameron Stevens wrote, “Ashley was always a bright light on campus. Very kind and outgoing.
