Shrikant Vishnu Bhat, Esteemed Advocate of Bombay High Court, Passes Away Following Brief Illness

Mumbai, Maharashtra – Shrikant Vishnu Bhat, a respected advocate of the Bombay High Court, passed away on September 30, 2024, following a brief illness.

His sudden demise has left family members, colleagues, and friends in deep sorrow.

Shrikant Vishnu Bhat, who was widely known in the legal community, is survived by his wife, Rekha, a former Judge of the Family Court, and his sons, Vikram and Gautam.

His daughters-in-law, Gauri and Deepal, along with his grandchildren, chamber colleagues, and juniors, also mourn his loss.

The legal fraternity and those close to him have expressed heartfelt condolences.

Advocate Deepak Talwar shared, “Prayers to the Almighty to grant eternal rest to the departed soul and strength to his family to bear the irreparable loss.”

Friends and well-wishers have taken to social media to pay their respects.

Ivan Dsouza posted “RIP,” while Amin Khan offered condolences, saying, “Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilayhi Rajiun.”

Steven Pereira expressed, “May His Soul Rest In Peace AMEN.”

Funeral details are yet to be announced.
